Group Fitness — Land & Water Classes — FREE!



These classes are free, ongoing and require no registration for YMCA Facility Members.
Ages 10 and up are welcome (10-13 year olds must be accompanied by an adult).
Intensity levels are rated in parentheses.

Water Fitness Class Descriptions

YMCA/SilverSplash (low)
Join us in the pool for a variety of exercises that can help you build strength and increase your range of movement. All members are welcome!

Senior Water Walking (low)
A safe and effective cardio workout which involves walking in shallow and deep water wearing an aqua belt.

Moon Tide (low-med)
This fun and friendly class is designed for
full-figured individuals.

Surfs Up II (med)
An energetic workout that will get your
heart pumping and your muscles moving!

High Tide (med)
An intermediate class with 30 – 40 minutes of cardio and toning segments.

Water Power (med-high)
Dive in for a high intensity, impact free workout.

Masters Swim (low-high)
An informal group workout for those who want to keep their competitive edge.

Land Fitness — Class Descriptions
All classes are held in the South Gym unless otherwise noted.

Core Muscle Conditioning (low-med)
A mat based class that utilizes abdominal and lower back muscles to improve posture and overall health.
Location: Meeker Room

NEW! Fitness for Everyone (low-med)

Learn a variety of cardio and toning exercises in this fun class. Mat exercises will also be included. Beginners are welcome!
Location: South Gym

Cardio Dance (low-med)
A variety of dance moves including belly dancing, funk, salsa, disco and modern for a fun cardio workout.

Rise and Shine! (med)
Wake up early and get your day started right with a fun aerobic and weight conditioning class.
Location: Meeker Room


Family Boot Camp – A fun 45-min class that challenges every member of the family (5 yrs – adult)


Power Tone (med)
A challenging toning class working all muscle groups concluding with stretching. This class utilizes hand weights, bands and exercise ball.

Step and Sculpt (med-high)
This class includes cardio training on the step with sculpting and muscle conditioning.

Kickboxing (med-high)
A fun, cardio interval workout that builds muscle endurance, strength and flexibility.

Cardio & Pump (med-high)
A high energy class combining a heart pumping workout with strength and toning exercises.

Power Pump (high)
An intense muscular strength and endurance workout utilizing aerobic weight sets.

High Energy (high)
Power your way through this fun mixed impact class. Includes a cardio workout plus body conditioning and toning.
